Theatre is the Harquail Studio, which was actually the first theatre at the F.J. Harquail Cultural Centre. The Harquail Studio is a small theatre with a basic performing area.
The Studio seats 52 in a semi-round stadium seating arrangement. Lighting and sound are basic. A dress room is available. It is well suited for small productions of plays, recitals, cabarets, and poetry readings, a rehearsal space, lectures and meetings or art and craft exhibitions.
Rates & Terms:
1. Base Rental Charge that covers use of the stage, foyer and dressing rooms and the assistance of one lights/sound operator* Per Performance, Per Exhibition Day, Per Conference Day, etc………………. $300

The following additional charges as applicable: a) * Additional lights/sound operator(s) Fee Per Extra Technician/Per Performance….………………………… $75 b) Rehearsals for performances at the Harquail Studio In the Studio (per 3-hour session)…………………………………… $25 On the Mainstage (per 3-hour session)……..………………………. $50 3. Metered Electricity Charge…………………………………………. Approx. $75 each 3-hr period. A reading of the electricity meter is taken immediately before and immediately after use of the Studio.
A deposit of $375, payable a minimum of four weeks in advance of the event, is required per booking. The deposit is applied to the final bill. In the event of a cancellation, the following will be refunded from the deposit:
If you cancel 15 days or more prior to the first day of the reservation you will be refunded in full.
If you cancel 14 days or less prior to the first day of the reservation you will be refunded 50% of the deposit.
