The Harquail Theatre is Cayman’s National Theatre; as such it is the best theatre in the country and well suited for community and professional productions. Companies have also used the theatre for corporate functions.
The Harquail Theatre seats 300 and is equipped with a computerized light board, a 32 track sound board, an array of lighting instruments and microphones, projectors and an intercom system. A grand piano is also available. The stage is 31x 29 feet with adequate wings and a fly system. A loading dock facilitates bringing in large sets and a small workshop is located in the adjacent building.
Facilities include a green room, two large dressing rooms with showers, and a star dressing room. A spacious foyer allows for displays and other creative uses of the space. The theatre holds a Liquor Licence that allows anyone renting the theatre to sell alcohol from the bar.

Rental Rates & Terms: RATES
Base Rental Charge that covers use of the stage, auditorium and dressing rooms, the assistance of one lights/sound operator* and the use of the bar for selling drinks and snacks. Alcoholic drinks may be sold on the days and times specified in the Liquor Licence, however consumption of food and drinks is confined to the bar area and is prohibited in the seating areas or outside the building(s).

A reading of the electricity meter is taken immediately before and immediately after use of the theatre.
A deposit of $1,000, payable a minimum of four weeks in advance of the event, is required per booking. The deposit is applied to the final bill. In the event of a cancellation, the following will be refunded from the deposit:
If you cancel 15 days or more prior to the first day of the reservation you will be refunded in full.
If you cancel 14 days or less prior to the first day of the reservation you will be refunded 50% of the deposit.
