The Freedom of information Law, 2007 (FOI Law) gives the public the right to access information held by public authorities such as Cayman National Cultural Foundation. CNCF fully supports the implementation of this law and stands ready and willing to assist the public with their requests for information.

Below is basic information on the FOI Law, how to apply for information and the procedure we will use in processing applications for information. For a more complete review of the FOI, please visit the Freedom of Information Unit website.

The Freedom of Information Law gives people in Cayman and overseas access to a wide range of records held by a public authority but also provides exemptions for certain types of information such as personal information and certain commercial information. In some cases an exemption can be waived because of an overriding public interest in the information sought.
